CCTV Records of Yiwu Airing
Post Time: 17/11/2017

The Local Records in China–Yiwu, a full-length documentary shot by the Beijing Continental Bridge Corporation, Ltd. (BCBC), was first aired on CCTV-10 at 10 p.m. on November 11. The film is about 45 minutes long, but it took BCBC four months to make it.

Since Yiwu is the first and only county-level city among national comprehensive reform pilot cities, the producers applied for the project to the CCTV program division of The Local Records in China in April 2016, with the purpose of exploring Yiwu’s spirit and promoting Yiwu’s culture, and got approved.

The Local Records in China program innovatively employs modern film technologies to carry forward the culture of local records, borrowing its structures and recording on television the efforts at the pursuit of the Chinese Dream: the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The program introduces the historical traditions, cultural characteristics, the construction of cities, and the economic development of various Chinese areas in the style of local records, displaying various outlooks and changes of times.
