CRE: The Longest Freight Train
Post Time: 14/02/2019

K3 International Train was regarded as the longest running train in China until the launching of the first China Railway Express (CRE).

The CRE is a train line that departs from Yiwu and finally arrives in Madrid, Spain. It is the New Silk Road on land, beginning in China. Covering a total of more than 13,000 kilometers, it takes 21 days from Yiwu to its destination.

In addition to some special local products of Xinjiang, most of the goods carried on the CRE are from Yiwu, the world-famous commodities city, including clothing, bags, and accessories.

When the CRE returns to China, many specialties are brought back from the countries along the train line, including Germany, France, Spain, and Russia, all of which benefit greatly from the New Silk Road. (Translated by Pan Yinghua, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
