Int’l Students Train at JP
Post Time: 27/02/2019

On January 18, the Belt and Road International Students Cross-Border E-Commerce Training Camp was kicked off at the Jinyi Network Economics Department of Jinhua Polytechnic (JP).

The camp lasted for 7 days, during which the students learned the ins and outs of online consumer psychology, internet marketing, e-commerce platform operation, and other e-commerce skills. The 20 international participants were from Rwanda, Ethiopia, Yemen, Nepal, Bangladesh, Morocco, and other countries along the Belt and Road.

It was in 2014 that JP launched a five-year cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Rwanda. Since then, Rwanda has sent students to JP every year, and teachers from JP have gone to Rwanda to contribute to local higher vocational education. In addition, JP has established a branch of Jinhua Polytechnic in Rwanda for Chinese teaching and vocational education, and to cultivate technical talents and disseminate advanced educational concepts.
