China-Africa Industrial Capacity Report Released

On May 24, the 2018 Report on China-Africa Industrial Capacity Cooperation was released at the Belt and Road Talent Training Symposium. The report focuses on the investment environment and industrial park development in South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania, analyzing the key industries in the cooperation between China and the three countries.

Professor Tang Renwu, dean of the College of Economics and Management at Zhejiang Normal University, pointed out in the Preface that in order to achieve the mutual prosperity of both China and Africa, it is essential to build a community around a shared future for mankind and to promote industrial capacity cooperation; it is also a requirement of the Belt and Road Initiative.

In order to better write this report, the three editors went to South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania to conduct field research from June to July of 2018. (Translated by Li Ziyi, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
