Jinhua–Central Asia Cargo Trains
On July 17, the second anniversary of service of the Jinhua–Central Asia CRE, the 100th Jinhua–Central Asia CRE cargo train, carrying 102 containers, departed from Jinhua South Railway Station.
The cargo trains depart from Jinhua, exit China via Khorgas Port in Xinjiang, and head to Tashkent, Uzbekistan; Almaty, Kazakhstan; and other destinations. The main export goods include Jinhua's power tools and daily supplies, Yiwu's commodities, Yongkang's hardware, and other characteristic products of mid-Zhejiang.
Since 2019, the Jinhua–Central Asia CRE has achieved the consistent travel of two trains per week. According to statistics, in the first half of 2019, Jinhua Customs inspected 33 regular trips of the Jinhua–Central Asia CRE with 3,146 containers, increasing by 37.5% and 40.6% respectively. The total value of the goods was 786 million RMB, an increase of 37.8%.
In order to ensure smooth customs clearance of the Jinhua–Central Asia CRE to countries along the Belt and Road, Jinhua Customs has launched a series of service initiatives. Next, Jinhua Customs will introduce large container inspection equipment. (By Wang Fei – Jinhua Daily, translated by Jin Haiqiong, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
