Launch of the Zhuji CRE
On December 16, the Zhuji China Railway Express (CRE) made its debut at the Yiwu West Railway Station with 82 TEUs of products made in China, heading straight to the Russian capital, Moscow.
The opening of the Zhuji CRE is an in-depth implementation by the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to accelerate the overall planning surrounding the province’s decision-making and deployment in order to further strengthen the CRE. It marks yet another achievement, following the opening of the Geely CRE, the Yiwu-Liège CRE, eWTP-Cainiao, and the Wenzhou X8410 CRE, which all assist the CRE in serving the foreign trade enterprise of Zhejiang. These new developments help to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of the CRE.
Previously, Zhuji City exported less than 10% of its total goods through the CRE, and a large number of goods were shipped out through Lianyungang, Zhengzhou, and other places. With great development potential, the opening of the Zhuji CRE will further enhance Zhuji’s level of opening up to the outside world and enrich international logistics channels.
