100th Cross-Border Train Departure

At 9 a.m. on December 16, at the site of the Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Hub, Deputy Mayor Shao Guoqiang announced the 100th cross-border train departure was ready to go. The X9018 Train to Central Asia with 50 containers set out from the Jinhua South Station heading west to Uzbekistan.

This is the 100th cross-border train departure from Jinhua City in 2019. It is also the first time that the number of annual trips has reached over 100 since the launch of the trainline in September 2017.

The trainline stopped at 12 cities in five countries in Central Asia and has covered basically all major cities along the route. The total number of operations has so far reached 170 train departures, and 153,000 tons of export goods have been shipped. This year, the number of cross-country trains running increased substantially. Twice to thrice weekly transportation has been achieved.
