China Railway Express 500th Departure

At 5 p.m. on December 24, a China Railway Express train with a total of 50 containers departed from Yiwu West Station on its way to Madrid, Spain. The number of departures of the Express in 2019 successfully exceeded 500. The number of standard boxes was over 40,000, a year-on-year increase of 63.2%, and the heavy box rate reached 100%.

In recent years, the scale of CRE has continued to expand. One departure was launched in 2014, 35 in 2015, 100 in 2016, 320 in 2018, and 500 trains have been launched in 2019, with a total of 1124 all these years, carrying over 90,000 TEUs. The number of departure lines has increased to 11, with 4 branches and 5 logistics distribution centers along the route, connecting 37 countries and regions in Asia and Europe.
