Photography Contest for International Students
Post Time: 15/01/2018

In order to help international students better integrate into Chinese life, record their beautiful moments, and tell stories about their life in China, the School of International Education at Yiwu Industrial and Commercial College held a photography contest titled “My Life in China” for international students.

He Shaoqing, Member of the Party Committee of the college and vice president of the School of International Education, attended the ceremony and presented certificates to the award-winning international students.

This event shows the artistic accomplishments of teachers and students and enriches their spare-time cultural experiences.

The contest started in Mid-November and lasted for a month and a half, collecting over 200 photos from teachers and students. After careful selection, the organizing committee finally recommended 100 photos for the exhibition. The works on display vary, recording wonderful moments from different angles and reflecting picturesque campus scenery, student life, beautiful natural scenery, and daily life.

At the awards ceremony, He expressed his appreciation for the success of the photography contest and congratulated the award-winning students. He hopes that the international students will learn more about Chinese culture and truly enjoy their lives in China.

After the awards ceremony, the teachers and students present enjoyed the exhibition together. (By Wang Tiantian, translated by Jiao Tingting, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
