International Volunteers in Jinhua
On September 24, Linda, a girl from Ghana, volunteered in the lobby of the Exit and Entry Administration of the Jinhua Public Security Bureau. She helps internationals go through the formalities for exit and entry both at the service window and on the computer. It was her fifth time volunteering like this in Jinhua.
As the starting point of the New Silk Road, the volunteer service station at the Exit and Entry Administration of the Jinhua Public Security Bureau has been operating for six months, and more than 60 volunteers have been registered. Among them, over 30 international volunteers are from Zhejiang Normal University and other colleges. These volunteers go to the service station every Tuesday, happy to help other foreigners who can’t yet speak Chinese. (By Hong Bing, translated by Wei Han, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
