Jinhua Attends CSCIE
On June 14, the 5th China Smart City International Expo (CSCIE), which lasted three days, opened in Beijing. As one of the first batch of national pilot smart cities, Jinhua set up its pavilion at the CSCIE to show experts and businessmen from China and abroad its fruitful achievements in smart city construction from three aspects: smart government, smart people’s livelihood, and smart industry.
With the theme of “Build Green and Smart Future Cities,” the 5th CSCIE aimed to demonstrate the achievements in the development of smart cities, promote the construction of smart cities’ industrial ecosystems, and strengthen the exchanges between domestic and foreign smart cities as well as enterprises, leading the development trend of smart cities.
In 2013, Jinhua was listed as one of the first 90 pilot smart cities by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. Taking this opportunity, Jinhua continually strives to become a model city in the fields of information consumption, “Broadband China” construction, and e-commerce. Jinhua also sets itself apart by promoting the digital transformation of its enterprises and establishing a superior smart city ecosystem. To date, Jinhua has established two national first-class and ten national second-class optical cable trunk lines with an export bandwidth of over 6000G. The construction of China Telecom East China Cloud Computation Center and China Mobile Central Zhejiang Information and Communication Industrial Park in Jinhua will solidify Jinhua’s status as the second central node city of Chinese Internet in Zhejiang.
Since 2013, Jinhua has steadily promoted its smart government administration including online government, smart water management, and smart supervision. As a pioneer in the construction of a “certificate-free city,” which can save citizens from troublesome certificate application, Jinhua has set up a refined government service and social management system. In addition, the implementation of many livelihood projects, like the 8890 Convenience Service Platform, mobile commercial streets, smart education, and Internet of Vehicles, offer citizens a more comfortable life with faster transportation and more convenient medical treatment. Jinhua also integrates Internet and new information technology into its traditional manufacturing industries to accelerate their transformation to intelligent ones, which leads to the springing-up of many intelligent manufacturing enterprises.
Six enterprises from Jinhua, including Zhejiang Flashforge 3D Technology Co., Ltd.; Guangtong Tianxia Network Technology Co., Ltd.; Zhongzhiwulian Technology Co., Ltd.; and Hongwei Supply Chain Group Co., Ltd, attended this expo. Displaying their products and techniques related to cloud security, 3D printing, and big data application, they actively carried out business negotiations with other enterprises.
