Lu Liangliang, from Dongyang, is one of the team members on the China Lunar Exploration Project.

In 1986, Lu was born in Jiangbei, Dongyang. He graduated from Dongyang High School in 2003. Lu always had good performance in school, but his college entrance examination turned out to be the worst of his academic career. When he got into university, Lu worked hard, and he fell in love with the aerospace industry there. In 2010, after he finished his master's degree at Beijing Institute of Technology, he started to work at the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology and serve as a rocket designer.

In 2015, he joined the China Lunar Exploration Project. At the time, a new mission in the Lunar Exploration Project was still in the planning stage. Lu, thus, participated in the whole process. In February 2019, he represented the team at the United Nations to introduce the mission.

Through his hard work and perseverance, he is now a deputy senior engineer. (By Du Xiaoping – Jinhua Daily, translated by Lin Yuqin, edited Mariam Ayad)
