Urge for Brand Promotion

Thirty brands from Jinhua were on the list of “2018 Zhejiang Export Famous Brands”—enlisting 292 brands in total—released by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. So far, the number of brands from Jinhua, which received this honor has reached seventy, ranking 4th in Zhejiang. Jinhua will push forward brand promotion for better internationalization of its products and services in the future and strive to achieve the transition from “large-quantity import and export” to “high-quality import and export”.

The “Report on Chinese Enterprises’ Globalization (2018)” pointed out that sticking to traditional business thinking, comparatively low brand reputation, monotonous means of brand marketing, and backward brand management are the main reasons for the weak international influence of Chinese brands.

To better internationalize their brands, Chinese enterprises not only need to focus on quality upgrading and technology innovation, but also dedicate to the promotion of product design and brand marketing.

For Jinhua enterprises, entering cross-border e-commerce platforms and getting direct contact with foreign consumers is a wise and economic choice for their internationalization. (Translated by Shen Yingying, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
