Three Major Railway Projects Start
On the morning of October 31, three construction projects—the Jinhua Section of the Jinhua-Ningbo Railway, the Jinhua Section of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway (Phase I), and the Yiwu Station Hub—were launched at the North Square of the Yiwu Railway Station.
Leaders of Jinhua Chen Long, Yin Xuequn, Huang Jinchao, Tao Chenghua, Chen Xiao, Zheng Yuliang, and Lou Dongjiang, and Yiwu leaders Lin Yi, Wang Jian, Chen Xiuxian, Ge Guoqing, and Chen Xiaozhong attended the launching ceremony. Chen Long, secretary of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee, announced the initiation of the projects. Yin Xuequn, mayor of Jinhua, presided over the ceremony.
Lin Yi, secretary of the Yiwu Municipal Party Committee, said in his speech that the launching of the three major projects is a long-awaited event for the people of Central Zhejiang and an important milestone for the development of Jinyi Urban District. These three railway projects will further strengthen the leading role of transportation infrastructure in the development of Jinyi Urban District and provide new opportunities for the development of counties, cities, and districts in Central Zhejiang.
