RUO's Investigating Group Visited Yiwu
From December 28-29, Du Peng, vice president of Renmin University of China and dean of Silk Road College, and his colleagues visited Yiwu. Li Junfu, Yiwu deputy mayor and member of city’s Standing Committee, attended the relevant meeting.
The delegation visited the International Trade City, Information Photoelectric High-Tech Zone, and Economic and Technological Development Zone and listened to their respective introductions. The local leader briefly introduced the development process of the Yiwu market during the seminar. He suggested that Yiwu has proactively engaged in the Belt and Road Initiative, built high-level capital of small commodities, and continued to strengthen outside exchanges and cooperation so as to promote innovative development of the Yiwu market. For now, Yiwu maintains economic relations with over 210 countries and regions.
Currently, Yiwu is accelerating the pace of trade in the world, actively building an international business environment, and constructing a logistics network available to every country. Young people from different countries are welcomed to pursue entrepreneurship and innovation as well as share development opportunities in Yiwu city.
