Jinhua’s Temple Fair

 On the morning of January 18, the 2020 Spring Festival Temple Fair of Jinhua Ancient City officially kicked offJinhua Ancient City has recently been rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot, and is one of the most historic and important cultural places in Jinhua. The temple fair showed Jinhua’s citizens and tourists the strong atmosphere of the Spring Festival, enriched their spiritual world, and promoted tourism and cultural heritage.







From January 18 to 22, activities were bustling in the Old City of Jinhua (also known and Guzi Cheng) such as the collecting, handing out, and writing of Spring Festival couplets and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions at the playground of the former No. 6 Middle School as well as at Bayong Street, Baoningmen, and Shiwangfu.

From February 1 to 7, performers will present the intangible cultural heritage of traditional operas such as Wu Opera, Yue Opera, Pujiang Luantan, Wuyi Kun Opera, and Yongkang Xinggan Dramas on the playground of the former No. 6 Middle School in the Old City of Jinhua.
