Yiwu Customs Opens Green Channel

Post Time: 2020-02-07
On the afternoon of February 3, Yiwu Customs inspected and released a batch of emergency aid, which is 200,000 masks to be used to contain the outbreak of the coronavirus, achieving the aim of “releasing goods immediately after customs declaration.”

Yiwu Customs adopted the “one-to-one” matchmaking and tracking measures to guide the customs declaration and pre-review the relevant materials. They communicated with import companies and customs brokers repeatedly in the early stages to ensure the source and use of the masks. Thanks to their preliminary work, Yiwu Customs made no delay in inspecting and releasing this batch of emergency aid as soon as the masks were put into storage in Yiwu Bonded Warehouse.

Yiwu Customs immediately launched the green channel for epidemic prevention aids after the outbreak. The front-line customs clearance posts are also open on holidays and are on duty around the clock to ensure that the epidemic prevention materials can experience barrier-free customs clearance. The “zero delay in customs clearance” principle was successfully applied in the front line of epidemic prevention. (By Zhang Zhichang, translated by Wei Han, edited by Kendra Fiddler)
