Railway Construction at Pan’an Section
On March 8 in Liuchong Village at Xinwo Subdistrict in Pan’an County, the earthwork excavation site of the Pan’an station of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed railway, dozens of excavators were removing rocks, construction trucks were shuttling here and there, and construction workers were carrying out their operations methodically.
Chen Fei, deputy director of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway Construction Headquarters, mentioned that they will strive to complete the Pan’an section within 10 months, and the Pan’an section was the earliest construction project of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed railway. A few days ago, personnel from the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Engineering Department of the Shanghai Bureau of the China Railway Construction Engineering Group arrived for work. With a total investment of 3.48 billion RMB, the construction line’s length is 29.357 km, and the plan is to complete it by the end of 2023.
