Post Time: 2020-03-25
On March 17, Yin Xuequn, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Jinhua, presided over the first meeting for the preliminary construction work of the Jinhua section of the Ningbo-Jinhua-Quzhou-Shangrao (NJQS) Expressway and Jinxi Avenue. After studying and arranging the preliminary work of the two projects, Yin stressed that Jinhua should conscientiously implement the decisions made by the Municipal Party Committee to accelerate the building of a national comprehensive transportation hub. Jinhua should, following the work requirements put forward by the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Jinhua Government, take advantage of the current beneficial policies to develop the preliminary work of major transportation projects. Jinhua should advance comprehensive transportation construction to facilitate the development of urban areas.

Zhang Xinyu, secretary of the Party Working Committee and director of the Management Committee of the Jinhua Emerging Industry Cluster Zone, and Lou Dongjiang, secretary-general of the Jinhua Government, also attended the meeting.

The NJQS Expressway starts from Ningbo and passes through the six cities of Ningbo, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Jinhua, Quzhou, and Shangrao, moving from east to west. The Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission has included the project in one of the 20 major traffic engineering projects that have been planned and launched as part of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
