Pan’an Industrial Park launched a centralized collection and transportation project of a trial run for general industrial solid waste and small and micro-sized hazardous waste. Relying on the “Internet +” mode, the project is greatly improving the efficiency of solid waste disposal.

There are 236 companies in Pan’an Industrial Park, including 32 companies above the designated size. In 2020, the companies in the park produced about 5000 tons of general industrial waste. In previous years, the park adopted traditional industrial waste treatment methods, mainly including landfill use, incineration, or recycling. With the increasingly strict requirements for waste classification, without enough disposal capacity, the treatment of industrial waste has become a major problem for the companies in the park.

In March 2020, the park chose Pan’an Haicheng Environmental Service Co., Ltd. for the centralized collection and transport of general industrial solid wastes and small and micro hazardous wastes in the park. The investment of the first phase of the pilot project reached 30 million RMB. The project is equipped with two professional vehicles for solid waste transportation and a sorting line for solid waste disposal.
