A special train for Taiping Shipping was launched on October 20 on the Yiwu-Ningbo-Zhoushan Port maritime-rail intermodal line. The cargo was loaded with 100 TEUs of automobile parts, clothings, toys, and other goods to be exported to the Middle East.

The train started at West Yiwu Railway Station and headed for Beilun Station and Zhoushan Port, Ningbo. After this first launch of the special train, trains on this line will operate regularly once a week.
