On February 13, the Wucheng District held a centralized commencement ceremony for the first batch of 10-billion-RMB projects in 2023. Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Xing Zhihong announced the start of construction. Chu Huibin, secretary-general of the municipal government, also attended the ceremony.

Wucheng District has attracted 355 projects worth a total investment of 208.88 billion RMB this year. The first batch of 10-billion-RMB projects has begun and a total of 20 projects have been arranged. These have a total investment of 20.935 bn RMB and an annual planned investment of 3.94 bn RMB. The projects cover fields such as high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, transportation facilities, basic energy, medical security, and housing projects. Wucheng strives to achieve a growth rate of over 20% in fixed asset investment in the region in the first quarter and enter the city's top ranks.

The Central Zhejiang Comprehensive Transportation Hub Project (Phase I), which has now started construction, has a total investment of 2.5 bn RMB. It is composed of Wucheng District's Future Smart Logistics Park and the Zhuma Logistics Park. The project aims to build a modern intelligent logistics industrial park covering supply chain logistics, warehousing, urban intercity distribution, e-commerce logistics, headquarters economy, and other new logistics formats.

In order to ensure early completion of construction projects and the early production of completed projects, Wucheng District insists on improving the early stage promotion mechanism of projects and insists on improving the management mechanism of major projects.
