On the evening of February 26, a business delegation departed from Jindong District headed to the Netherlands and Germany, and arrived in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. Pan Ganggang, deputy director of Jindong District, led the delegation.

The business trip lasted for eight days. During the trip, the delegation visited the Dutch Chinese Chamber of Commerce, the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in North Rhine-Westphalia, and the Silk Road Business School. In addition, the delegation visited the Port of Rotterdam, Düsseldorf Innovation and Technology Centre, and the headquarters of Vacuflex and Merck, and signed relevant cooperation agreements. Moreover, the government of Jindong District organized companies to participate in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Sourcing in Cologne and held promotion conferences to attract investment to Jindong District.

During the visits, Jindong District encouraged companies to participate in fairs and conduct business negotiations. The promotion conferences focused on the various factors and challenges currently faced by European companies, and introduced the investment environment of Jindong District from the perspective of location advantages, industrial layout, industrial platforms, living facilities, and factor costs. Jindong District invited German companies with industrial transfer intentions to participate in the conferences. It hopes to build a high-standard international business environment in Jindong District.

In recent years, Jindong District has done a good job in stabilizing foreign trade, facilitating companies to go global, and encouraging companies to make every effort to maintain orders, attract new customers, expand markets, and strive for a greater market share. In the past year, Jindong District organized 200 companies to participate in various domestic and international fairs, helping foreign trade companies to stabilize traditional markets in Europe, the US, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and other countries and regions, and actively explore emerging markets along the Belt and Road countries.
