On August 16, more than 100 Tanzanian trade representatives visited Dongyang to inspect the local market. The delegation visited Dongyang Woodcarving Town, China Woodcarving Museum, and other places, where the representatives participated in small symposia and received many intentions to place orders. The delegation had visited the Yiwu and Yongkang markets before visiting Dongyang and will participate in the procurement conferences in Jinhua to engage in further business negotiations with local companies.

Tanzania is one of Jinhua’s important partners. Jinhua has created a good environment for cooperation with Africa in recent years. Jinhua has achieved remarkable results in cultural exchanges, economic and trade exchanges, fairs and exhibitions, and project cooperation with Tanzania. Moreover, friendship between the people has been enhanced. Customs data show that in the first half of 2023, Jinhua’s imports and exports to Tanzania were 2.93 billion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%.
